Greetings dear friends of Foodies Bee Hive, welcome to my blog. Today I share with you a recipe to enjoy chicken meat in a different way. I prepared chicken gordon blue, the recipe had its traditional version which is to stuff the breast fillets with ham and yellow cheese, however, I did not bread them in flour, egg and breadcrumbs as usual, but I dipped them in a white sauce, but first I wrapped them in bacon slices. As if that wasn't enough, I sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top.

This is a recipe that I don't prepare periodically and that's why it was special to treat myself to a different preparation. I always prepare sweaty or grilled chicken, but, once in a while you have to get out of the routine, what do you think?.

## Ingredients

- 269 grs of chicken breast fillet

- 78 grams of chopped white onion

- 1 clove garlic

- 70 grs of bacon

- 39 grs cheddar cheese slice (2 slice)

- 39 grs slice of leg ham (2 slices)

- 2 tablespoons wheat flour

- 2 tablespoons margarine

- salt to taste

- 1 cup of water

- 4 tablespoons of oil for frying

- 6 thin wooden sticks

- Parmesan cheese to taste

## Preparation

1.-. To flatten the breast fillets and achieve a good roll, we hit them with a mallet. Then, season them with salt to taste and place the slices of ham and cheese on each one.

2.-. fter placing the stuffing, roll the breast fillets and wrap them in the bacon slices. To ensure that the stuffing does not come out, we insert the wooden toothpicks at the ends and in the middle.

3.-. In a frying pan that we will put on the stove over medium low heat, preheat 4 tablespoons of oil and brown the chicken. Once ready, remove it from the heat and place it on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.

4.- In the same pan where we browned the chicken, add the margarine, if there is any oil left over from step 3, discard it, there is no need to wash the pan. Then, add the chopped onion and the garlic clove, also chopped, and let them wilt a little. To make the white sauce, dilute the wheat flour in the water and pour it into the pan.

5.- Let the sauce cook until it starts to boil, after a couple of minutes of boiling, add the chicken fillets. Let it cook for about 3 minutes, enough time for the liquid to reduce a little and thicken. Turn off the heat.

6.- We served our dish, I accompanied it with rice. I bathed the gordon blue with the white sauce and then sprinkled it with parmesan cheese to taste.

Saludos queridos amigos de Foodies Bee Hive, bienvenidos a mi blog. Hoy les comparto una receta para disfrutar de la carne de pollo de una manera diferente. Preparé gordon blue de pollo, la receta tuvo su versión tradicional que se trata de rellenar los filetes de pechuga con jamón y queso amarillo, no obstante, no los empanicé en harina, huevo y pan molido como se habitúa normalmente, sino que los sumergí en una salsa blanca, pero antes los envolví en una láminas de tocineta. Como si fuera poco, le esparcí queso parmesano por encima.

Esta es una receta que no preparo periódicamente y por eso fue especial para darme un gusto en una elaboración diferente. Siempre preparo el pollo sudado o a la plancha, pero, de vez en cuando hay que salir de la rutina, ustedes que opinan?.

## Ingredientes

- 269 grs de filet de pechuga de pollo

- 78 grs de cebolla blanca picada

- 1 diente de ajo

- 70 grs de tocineta

- 39 grs laja de queso cheddar (2 lajas)

- 39 grs laja de jamón de pierna (2 lajas)

- 2 cucharadas de harina de trigo

- 2 cucharadas de margarina

- sal al gusto

- 1 taza de agua

- 4 cucharadas de aceite para freír

- 6 palillos finos de madera

- Queso parmesano al gusto

## Preparación

1.-. Para aplanar los filetes de pechuga y lograr un buen enrollado, los golpeamos con un mazo. Luego, los condimentamos con la sal al gusto y les colocamos las lajas de jamón y queso a cada uno.

2.-. Después de colocar el relleno, enrollamos los filetes de pechuga y los envolvemos en las láminas de tocineta. Para asegurar que no se salga el relleno, le insertamos los palillos de madera en los extremos y en el medio.

3.-. En una sartén que pondremos en la cocina a fuego medio bajo, precalentamos 4 cucharadas de aceite y ponemos a dorar el pollo. Una vez listo, lo retiramos del fuego colocándolo sobre papel absorbente para eliminar el exceso de grasa.

4.- En la misma sartén donde doramos el pollo, agregamos la margarina, si quedó algo de aceite debido al paso 3, lo desechamos, no hace falta lavar la sartén. Luego, agregamos la cebolla picada y el diente de ajo también picadito, dejamos que se marchiten un poco. Para hacer la salsa blanca, diluimos la harina de trigo en el agua y la vertemos en la sartén.

5.- Dejamos cocinar la salsa hasta que comience a hervir, pasado un par de minutos de hervor, colocamos los filetes de pollo. Dejamos cocinar unos 3 minutos, tiempo suficiente para que el líquido reduzca un poco y haya espesado. Apagamos el fuego.

6.- Servimos nuestro platillo, lo acompañé con arroz. Al gordon blue lo bañé con la salsa blanca y luego le esparcí queso parmesano al gusto.
