HI EVERYONE

Tequeños are a very tasty informal meal, they are made from a wheat flour dough, filled with delicious cheese and fried in plenty of oil, I like to make them as an appetizer, I also take advantage and make enough to keep in the fridge, today I share with you a good recipe to make them at home.

This food is very popular here in Venezuela, its flavor is addictive and cheese lovers enjoy savoring this appetizer, the cheese melts and combines perfectly with the flour dough, it is good to make enough to have and eat when you feel like it, I get about 40 units, it all depends on the size of the cheese stick you use. INGREDIENTS

- 900 grams kilo of wheat flour (in this occasion I used leavening flour), we leave 100 grams to sprinkle the plateau - Three large whole eggs - A spoonful of salt - One tablespoon of sugar - Half a cup of melted butter - Oil for frying - 240 ml of water - Cheese cut into sticks approximately 7 centimeters long. PROCEDURE

Start by placing the eggs, butter, salt, sugar and water in a large bowl.

Then I add little by little the wheat flour and at the same time I knead the mixture until I obtain a dough that does not stick to my hands,

I let this dough rest for half an hour.

To make the tequeños we must stretch the dough, cut the dough into strips.

Place a cheese stick on a strip of dough and then wrap the dough around the cheese sticks, the technique is to roll diagonally and seal the dough well so that the cheese does not come out.

Fry in hot oil until golden brown, place on absorbent paper and serve the tequeños still hot

Deliciosos Tequeños

Los Tequeños son una comida informal muy sabrosa, son hechos a base de una masa de harina de trigo, rellenos con delicioso queso y fritos en abundante aceite, me gusta hacerlos como aperitivo, también aprovecho y hago suficientes para guardar en la nevera, hoy te comparto una buena receta para hacerlos en casa.

Esta comida es muy popular aquí en Venezuela, su sabor es adictivo y los amantes del queso disfrutan saborear este aperitivo, el queso se funde y combina a la perfección con la masa de harina, es bueno hacer bastantes para tener y comer cuando se nos antoje, a mi me salen 40 unidades aproximadamente, todo depende del tamaño del bastón de queso que se utilice. INGREDIENTES

- 900 gramos kilo de harina de trigo ( en esta ocasión utilicé harina leudante) , dejamos 100 gramos para espolvorear el mesón - Tres huevos enteros grandes - Una cucharada de sal - Una cucharada de azúcar - Media taza de mantequilla derretida - Aceite para freír - 240 ml de agua - Queso cortado en bastones de aproximadamente 7 centímetros de largo. PROCEDIMIENTO

Se comienza colocando en un bol grande los huevos, la mantequilla, sal, azúcar y agua

Luego voy añadiendo poco a poco la harina de trigo y al mismo tiempo se debe de amasar la mezcla hasta obtener un bollo que no se pegue de las manos,

Este bollo lo dejo reposar por media hora

Para hacer los tequeños debemos estirar la masa, cortar la masa en tiras

Colocar un bastón de queso sobre una tira de masa y luego se envuelve la masa alrededor de los palitos de queso, la técnica es enrollar de forma diagonal y sellar bien la masa para que no se salga el queso.

Freír en aceite caliente hasta que se doren, colocarlos en papel absorbente y servir los tequeños aún calientes.
